Welcome from our Head of School

Welcome to The Epiphany School of Charlotte! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Epiphany and all we can offer your child. I encourage you to take the time to visit our school and meet our exceptional students and compassionate staff.

Throughout the website, you will see “social and academic success for students with Asperger’s and children who move through the social world just a little differently.” At Epiphany, we embrace the individuality of all students, encourage strengths, and provide opportunities for social and emotional growth. Our mission is to help students experience social and academic success and increase confidence in their abilities to skillfully thrive in the social world.

Epiphany is recognized for our focus on teaching social communication skills through our “Friends and Feelings” program. Also unique to Epiphany is our small class sizes, trained teachers, and nurturing environment. Our teachers understand our student’s complex learning styles and personalities and differentiate instruction according to each student’s academic and social needs. Our dedicated teachers, unique social communication skill based lessons, along with meaningful social experiences teach the “hows” and “whys” of social interaction. These unique experiences help our students gain the skills and coping strategies to flourish in other social settings.

We believe in fostering positive relationships between our students, families, staff, and community members. Our families are active members of our school community providing a wealth of resources and support for each other. Our Board of Directors works diligently to support our school and help us reach our goals. Together we can provide a well-rounded, comprehensive social and academic education for your child.

While our website will give you a glimpse into our school environment, nothing compares to visiting our school in person. As the Head of School, I have the opportunity to see our students learn and grow mentally, spiritually, and socially.

I encourage you to visit and be part of the success of The Epiphany School of Charlotte.

Sincerely,

Stacy Kasberg
