    Mrs. McNeil, my third grade teacher. She loved math and helped me develop my own love for math.

    What do I love about Epiphany?

    I love that the classes are small. I am able to build a strong relationship with each one of my students.

    How does teaching and working with children inspire me?

    Working with children on the spectrum has always been my passion. The way their brains process things and see the world has always intrigued me. I fully believe that if they are able to blossom and be understood then it will lead to great things. Seeing a kid find his or her passion and excel at it, is the reason I teach.

    I grew up in Pinehurst, NC, moved to Boone for college, and have been in Charlotte for 6 years.

    My favorite thing to do in Charlotte is go to the Whitewater Center. My favorite place to eat is Pinky’s.
